After graduating from architectural studies I started a ‘classic’ career – working with individual clients. Soon it transpired that in my toolbox, except from my knowledge of materials, construction and wood processing, there is also an element of careful observation.

I designed pre-schools, medical centres, multigenerational houses and flats for single mums. I was finding out about the needs of my customers with a large dose of curiosity and empathy to ensure that their interiors are not just a fashionable scenery but also a practical and safe haven.

I was designing through observing. Before I suggested a spatial arrangement for my customers I needed to find out about their habits, routines, ways of spending time and individual preferences resulting from their lifestyle. When I ended my phase of working with individual customers, I followed the same method when designing and consulting with regard to public spaces: offices, educational venues, showrooms and coffee shops.

It was only due to such investigation that I was able to suggest solutions in creating human friendly spaces.

Throughout the 12 years of my professional career, I carried out over 60 private and commercial projects. Below is the summary of the more interesting ones.

2018 | Two concepts of the WORK OUT zone for the Forum shopping centre in Gdańsk. The project was carried out together with the CROPP brand.
