The aim of the assignment was to redesign a chosen object, which gave the biggest sense of comfort to the users during social distancing and isolation caused by the global pandemic. Students were to carry out a detailed analysis of a given object and its fabric, as well as examine how human senses react to it (synesthetic project)
Didactics and human senses_
By working with students at the Academy of Fine Arts in Gdansk, Art Academy in Szczecin, as well as School of Form in Warsaw, I urge them to take a courageous approach towards problems, which are seemingly small today but will soon become pressing. The more cautious and aware we are, when we examine future scenarios, the sooner we realize that the sense of security will become more unattainable – both in the sensory perception of reality and our interactions with objects.
The aim of the project “Let’s hack the future – workshop for designers with IKEA” was to design responsible solutions for House of Tomorrow, using the gathered knowledge from synesthetic design and possible future scenarios.
SKANSKA, one of the most innovative developers and trendsetters on the market, has been searching for an answer as to how office interiors will change in the future, taking into account design, technology, and functionality. The aim of the workshops was to examine how the function of offices will change in the next 10, 20 and 50 years
Students attempted to design a bedroom of the future, based on infuture hatalska foresight institute’s cultural, social, and environmental trends. Young designers addressed the problems of energetics, nomadism, and space minimization. Moreover, they tackled the issues of intimacy and sex.
