DESCRIPTION:
A series of photo essays depicting people with considerable life experience, as well as places, which are far away from the typical touristy locations. My photographs were taken during many months of travelling through Asia and Africa. This multicultural experience allowed me to understand how little we actually need to lead a happy life. I became more sensitive to the beauty of a disappearing world, diversity, and openness to another human being. As a result, I felt a dire need to help those who have experienced war.
