DESCRIPTION:
The aim of the assignment was to redesign a chosen object, which gave the biggest sense of comfort to the users during social distancing and isolation caused by the global pandemic. Students were to carry out a detailed analysis of a given object and its fabric, as well as examine how human senses react to it (synesthetic project). The final concept aimed at redesigning a given object in order to affect at least two senses and meet the needs of a particular social group.
Students came up with the following final projects: flavored cups for children aged 3-5, a mirror for people suffering from color blindness, a weighted blanket with a domino function, as well as a microphone for deaf people.
