DESCRIPTION:
The Lunares Research Station is a specialized facility for simulating manned space missions on the Moon and Mars. Lunares was created in 2017 by Space Garden and is the only facility of this type in Europe. In September 2018 I was a commander of the 9. L.E.A.R.N. mission, during which I conducted a design audit of the habitat. In April 2019 a control mission was set up, consisting of the co-owner of the habitat and architect, Leszek Orzechowski and European Space Agency psychologist, Thomas Van Caelenberg. Together we have formulated a new space arrangement of the station. All the changes are being implemented from June 2019 and will finish in 2021.
